SMES is passionately steering its way to success producing excellent results, through personal rapport, professional excellence, and result oriented endeavors. Our SSC and HSC batches are reaping 100% results. We are proud to announce that our students represent Gujarat State team of Volleyball, Table Tennis  and Football in the National School Games We organize district inter School Volleyball Tournament for St. Mary's cup, Cricket Tournament for Marian Cup and football tournament for Fr. Palav cup every year, the first of its kind organized by a school at Bhavnagar.

Various AWARDS are given away to the students to encourage them to be the best.

The rapidly transforming global scenario marked by healthy competition demands sound knowledge, renewed skill, professionalism, dynamism and creativity. SMHS has forged ahead in its efforts to impart education through seminars and workshops while emphasizing other aspects like cultural programmes, annual social gatherings etc. All endeavors are made to impart insights to student on social and cultural values of life. Scientific teaching methods and techniques are adopted here.  Conscientious evaluation of students is another salient features. Parent-teacher meeting is frequently held to sort out the problem faced by the parent\teacher in the course of the child's study. Experts in various fields are invited to give lectures to the teachers, nonteaching staff and the students to up-minute their knowledge and thinking.  

Our curriculum is in line with the N.C.E.R.T. based Gujarat State Education Board's syllabus. Our pattern of education ensures periodic assessments and tests which help in vitalizing the weak students. The co curricular and extra curricular activities are reinforced to serve the real purpose of education. AINACS the All India Association of Catholic Schools supervises syllabus and examination of SMHS. The individualized instructional methods and remedial teaching are characteristics of our teaching methodology.

SMES ambulatory ambassadors-the fleet of luxury school buses - Mariana, Martina, Marina, Madonna and Maradona  - render the best transport facility to the children. They ensure safe and secure passage to students.

CULTURAL HERITAGE

SMES is passionately advocating the promotion of cultural events and hence adequate and specialized training is imparted to the students in almost all possible cultural expressions. Students of SMES are to enroll themselves in any of the 14 Actiivity Clubs. Separate clubs for Bharat Natyam, Kathak and Modern Dance help the students reap rich benefits.
